Jeanne K. Simmons: Rooted is an exhibition at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art that explores the intersection of body, sculpture, and landscape through Simmons' organic, wearable sculptures and photographs. The show features a site-specific installation created from foraged materials, aiming to evoke the essence of the temperate rainforests of the Pacific Northwest within the Arizona desert. Curated by Keshia Turley, this exhibition invites viewers to engage with the fragility of nature and reflect on their relationship with the environment through art that embodies both beauty and urgency. The exhibition runs from October 11, 2025, to February 22, 2026.
