Young Hamlet is grieving the loss of his father and feeling the betrayal of his mother's too quick marriage to his father's brother when reports of the old King Hamlet's ghost, armed for war, circle around the palace guards, making their way to young Hamlet. All is not well, something is rotten in the State of Denmark!
In this production the roles of Claudius, Hamlet, and Laertes are played by a three indomitable actresses and the roles of Gertrude and Ophelia are movingly played by two dynamic actors.The Tragedie of Hamlet is part of a free Shakespeare festival playing along side of " Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead" by Tom Stoppard, directed by Sarah Elizabeth Yorke.
