Forty-seven years after WAIT UNTIL DARK premiered on Broadway, Jeffrey Hatcher has adapted Frederick Knott’s original, giving it a new setting. In 1944 Greenwich Village, Susan Hendrix, a blind yet capable woman, is imperiled by a trio of men in her own apartment. As the climax builds, Susan discovers that her blindness just might be the key to her escape, but she and her tormentors must wait until dark to play out this classic thriller’s chilling conclusion.

Warning: This production includes smoking, mature language, violence, and a complete blackout of the entire space (stage and auditorium) for approximately 5 minutes at the end of Act II.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for seniors, students, and children under 12. They are available at the door or online at dcptheatre.org. Groups of 10 or more may contact the box office by emailing boxoffice@dcptheatre.com for a reduced rate.
