The Ever Present takes place outside, as a group of residents discusses a vacant lot. The neighbors all have a connection to the house that was once on the land and they all want a say as to what will happen next. In this fun, family-friendly play, Eric will bring characters from different backgrounds together to seek the elusive thing forever sought and rarely found in South Philadelphia: consensus. Theatre Exile presents a Studio X-hibition virtual reading of The Ever Present, an Out of Exile original play written by national best-selling author and playwright R. Eric Thomas. Theatre Exiles new play development series Out of Exile, commissions playwrights to create an original play for theatergoers of all ages.
