Israel Zangwill's 1908 drama about America as a melting pot of immigrants forming one people, adapted and directed by Jesse Bernstein. The production explores how Zangwill's words of hope intersect with current events in the United States, updating some melodrama while preserving his inspiring vision. Presented as part of America 250, this is a co-production between Theatre Ariel and Philadelphia Artists Collective.
