Philadelphia cabaret performer Tyler Houchins premieres his new cabaret celebrating the music of Jerry Herman, the second installment in his Songbook Series following his Judy Garland show Down a Yellow Brick Road. Houchins weaves Herman's standards, including Hello, Dolly!, Mame, La Cage aux Folles, and Mack & Mabel, with rarities such as the title song written for the 1998 Barney film and numbers from the 1996 television musical Mrs. Santa Claus. The evening is framed by Houchins' personal story of growing up gay in the South and finding permission to be himself in Herman's music.
