Clear Creek Creative from Kentucky brings an outdoor eco-cultural theater experience & farm-fresh meal to Farm Arts Collective.
Ezell: Ballad of a Land Man is an environmental, cultural and spiritual parable derived from living in the foothills of Appalachia, one man among many seeking to make sense of the time, place and condition in which we live.
In the story, Ezell's choices, traumas and ancestors intersect with themes of domination and resilience as he seeks to take advantage of an anticipated fracking boom and the opportunity to reconnect with the people and land of his raising.

This performance is a 3 hour experience with walking for a mile on uneven ground at Willow Wisp Organic Farm.
Following each performance is a community meal.
-Ezell: Ballad of a Land Man is made possible with funding by the New England Foundation for the Arts National Theater Project, with lead funding from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and additional funding from the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation.
-Ezell: Ballad of a Land man is made possible, in part, through a grant awarded to Clear Creek Creative and the Farm Arts Collective from the Network of Ensemble Theaters Travel & Exchange Network (NET/TEN), supported by lead funding from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. Ezell was also developed with the support of a Continuation Grant from the Network of Ensemble Theaters Travel & Exchange Network (NET/TEN) awarded to Clear Creek Creative and Mondo Bizarro.
