With over two dozen timeless hits, including "Its My Party, Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?, Where the Boys Are, and You Don't Own Me, the show takes you on a song-filled journey told from the perspective of six women coming of age during this unforgettable time, taking us from their first Beehive Dance through a decade of change. Walnut Street Theatre to Present THE LITTLE MERMAID
November 02, 2021 Walnut Street Theatre will continue its 213th season with the breathtaking Broadway hit for all ages, Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID. Directed by Glenn Casale and choreographed by John MacInnis, the production begins previews on November 16, 2021, opens November 24, and continues through January 2, 2022 on the Walnut’s Mainstage.
Walnut Street Theatre Announces Discounted Tickets Supported By PNC Arts Alive! Grant
October 13, 2021 Walnut Street Theatre has been awarded a generous PNC Arts Alive grant which will fund the “Back to the Show!” program. The grant enables Walnut Street Theatre to provide a limited number of $10 tickets for mainstage performances this season to increase access to live theatre for community members, with special outreach efforts to those who have been most affected by the pandemic.

September 08, 2021 Walnut Street Theatre, America's oldest theatre, announced today that guests will need to be fully vaccinated with an FDA- or WHO-authorized vaccine in order to attend a performance and must show proof of vaccination at their time of entry into the theatre with their valid ticket.About the Theatre
