A one-woman play by Cheri Magid, performed by Sarah Baskin and directed by Michelle Bossy, that re-examines Ovid's Metamorphoses and questions what we inherit from stories passed down to us. Myrrha, a grad student in the classics, confronts her professor over the fifty sexual assaults in Ovid's Metamorphoses, sparking a cascade of magical events involving gods, goddesses, boyfriends, girlfriends, tricksters, and fiends. Baskin performs 17 characters and 120 transformations between them, with movement direction by Patrick McCollum and sound design by Fitz Patton. The production plays as part of the 2026 Philadelphia Fringe Festival's Cannonball Hub.
