All Shook Up Rides into Philadelphia, February 20-25

All Shook Up will ride into the Merriam Theater at 250 S. Broad Street in Philadelphia for a strictly limited engagement of eight performances February 20-25, 2007 as part of the Broadway Across America - Philadelphia 06-07 Season. 

Headed by new-comer Joe Mandragona along with Jenny Fellner, fresh from Broadway's Mamma Mia and TV, stage and screen favorite Susan Anton, All Shook Up "tells the romantic tale of how a young girl's dream comes true when a guitar-playin' roustabout rides into a square state and turns the town upside down with his hip-swivelin', lip-curlin'and sexy song singin'. The clever book is by Joe DiPietro (I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change), with direction by Tony Award-nominee Christopher Ashley (The Rocky Horror Show), and features 24 Presley classic hit songs including 'Heartbreak Hotel,' 'Burning Love,' 'Jailhouse Rock, ' Blue Suede Shoes,' 'It's Now or Never,' and 'Don't Be Cruel,'" state press notes.
 
"Sergio Trujillo, who is currently represented on Broadway with the hit musical Jersey Boys, will choreograph this well tuned hot-rod musical that took Broadway by storm and guarantees to have the entire family jumpin' out of their blue suede shoes."

This production is presented as part of the Broadway Across America - Philadelphia 06-07 Season at the Merriam Theater.
