Today we rewind to 2011, when Sister Act was preparing for Broadway. The musical, which first premiered in California in 2006 and then London in 2009, featured music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Glenn Slater.
Today we rewind to 2013, when Cinderella was getting ready to arrive on Broadway, starring Laura Osnes, Santino Fontana, Victoria Clark, and Harriet Harris. The musical opened on March 3 at the Broadway Theatre, where it went on to play 769 performances.
Rehearsals are underway for the New York City Center production of Love Life starring Kate Baldwin, Brian Stokes Mitchell, John Edwards, Sara Jean Ford, Isabella Houston, Owen Tabaka and Clarke Thorell.
