The August 4, 2016 show of Broadway in Bryant Park included a performance by the Broadway cast of An American in Paris. Cast members for the event included Dimitri Kleioris, Leanne Cope, Jill Paice, Brandon Uranowitz, Derek Hanson, Attila Joey Csiki, Kyle Brown, Megan Dickinson, Kurt Froman, Derek Hanson, Marina Lazzaretto, Cory Lingner, Nathan Madden, Charlotte O'Dowd, Candy Olsen, Kristin Piro, Sam Rogers, Shannon Rugani, Bradley Schlagheck, Jeffrey C. Sousa, Tory Trowbridge and Scott Willis performing the numbers 'Shall We Dance,' 'For You, For Me, For Evermore,' 'I'll Build a Stairway to Paradise,' and 'S Wonderful.'

The company of Fun Home was runner-up for turning West Side Story's 'Gee Officer Krumpkee!' into a plea to Miranda to write a show for them. But they ultimately realized that they could control their own destinies by creating roles for themselves, just as Miranda has done. Watch their full performance below!

The 30th annual Easter Bonnet Competition, celebrating six weeks of fundraising by 58 Broadway, Off-Broadway and national touring companies, raised a record-shattering $5,528,568 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the largest grand total from either an Easter Bonnet Competition or Gypsy of the Year fundraising campaign in Broadway Cares history. The show featured a surprise performance by rock legend Stevie Nicks, two top awards to Lin-Manuel Miranda and the cast of Hamilton, and more than 230 of the best actors, singers and dancers in New York. The national tour of Pippin launched in Denver this week, and host of 'In Focus' Eden Lane sat down for a one-on-one with composer/lyricist Stephen Schwartz (GODSPELL, WICKED, Pippin, and more). Lane also met the director and driving force behind this re-imagined Pippin, Tony Award-winner Diane Paulus. This episode also includes highlights with cast members Matthew James Thomas as Pippin, Lucie Arnaz as Berthe, Sasha Allen (a finalist on the 4th season on THE VOICE) as Leading Player, and Tony Award-winner John Rubinstein, who created the role of Pippin in the 1972 original Broadway production. Kyle Selig stars as Pippin in the new national touring production of PIPPIN that launches in Denver on Sept. 6. Kyle sent his selfie video series, JOIN US: A DAY IN THE LIFE OF PIPPIN that The Denver Center for the Performing Arts put together into a vlog to show fans a fun day in the life of Kyle and his show. In this video, he meets up with castmates (including Leading Player Sasha Allen), jugglers and even some comic sleight of video hand. Get a first look into rehearsals. Enjoy the view.

3-D Theatricals presents the final show of its 2012 season, the Tony Award-winning musical HAIRSPRAY, choreography by Dana Solimando, musical direction by Allen Everman, and directed by 3-D Theatricals Executive Producer and Artistic Director T.J. Dawson. HAIRSPRAY began performances on Friday, October 12, and performs through Sunday, October 28 at the historic Plummer Auditorium, 201 E. Chapman Ave. in Fullerton. HAIRSPRAY will then travel across town to perform at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center, 1935 Manhattan Beach Blvd. for three performances only November 2-4.
