A brand new song has been released from the world premiere stage adaptation of Annie Proulx’s short story, Brokeback Mountain, a new play with music. In the video, Eddi Reader sings ‘Sharing Your Heart’. This is the moment where Alma (played by Emily Fairn) realises that her husband, Ennis Del Mar (played by Lucas Hedges), also loves another.

Renée Fleming makes her return to the Met in this new opera by from Pulitzer Prize–winning composer Kevin Puts, adapted from Michael Cunningham’s novel, inspired by Virginia Woolf’s “Mrs. Dalloway.” The opera also stars Tony winner Kelli O’Hara and opera star Joyce DiDonato. The Royal Shakespeare Company has released the new concept trailer for the upcoming global premiere of the stage adaptation of Studio Ghibli’s My Neighbour Totoro.

General Director Plácido Domingo has announced final casting information for LA Opera's new production of Akhnaten by Philip Glass. A co-production with English National Opera, Akhnaten is conducted by Artist in Residence Matthew Aucoin and staged by British director Phelim McDermott.  Check out a sneak peek below!

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University has released a sneak peek at the world premiere of Witness Uganda, created by Matt Gould and Griffin Matthews, directed by A.R.T. Artistic Director Diane Paulus, with choreography by Darrell Grand Moultrie and Music Director, Remy Kurs. The production begins performances at the Loeb Drama Center at 64 Brattle Street, Cambridge on February 4, and will run through March 16. Award-winning stage and screen actress Fiona Shaw returned to Broadway on Monday night, April 22, for the opening of The Testament of Mary, by the acclaimed author Colm Toibin, directed by Deborah Warner. The production will run for a twelve-week limited engagement through Sunday, June 16, at the Walter Kerr Theatre.
