Last week, the cast of  Winnie the Pooh: The New Musical Adaptation went on a trip to Hundred Acre Wood and visited Pooh Corner, Poohsticks Bridge and Ashford Park Hotel.  Check out photos and video footage from the day here!

In honor of Winnie the Pooh Day, the cast of Disney's Winnie the Pooh appeared on Good Morning America today for a special performance. The segment also included an interview with Jake Bazel, the puppeteer and voice actor who plays Pooh Bear in the current Off-Broadway production.

Corbin Bleu performed The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh theme song alongside a montage of puppets ahead of the upcoming off-Broadway run of Winnie the Pooh: The New Musical Adaptation, coming to New York City this October.

Last night Taylor Mac performed a stirring rendition of Patti Smith's iconic "People Have the Power" on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, with members of Stay Human, the Jon Batiste-fronted house band, and Mac's own ensemble. Taylor also chatted with Stephen about A 24-Deacde History of Popular Music among other topics.

Yesterday, July 14, Bernadette Peters and Mary Tyler Moore hosted the 14th annual BROADWAY BARKS!, a star-studded dog and cat adoption event benefiting New York City animal shelters and adoption agencies. WINNIE THE POOH is now available on Blu-ray/DVD from Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment. The animated film is directed by Stephen J. Anderson and Don Hall, and narrated by John Cleese. It includes brand-new songs performed by Zooey Deschanel. The cast includes Jim Cummings, Craig Ferguson, Tom Kenny, Bud Luckey, Travis Oates, Jack Boulter and Kristen Anderson-Lopez.
