Finding Neverland is a musical with music and lyrics by Gary Barlow and Eliot Kennedy and a book by James Graham adapted from the 1998 play The Man Who Was Peter Pan by Allan Knee and its 2004 film version Finding Neverland.

Today we rewind to 2017, when War Paint opened at the Nederlander Theatre, where it ran for 236 performances. Led by Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole, the musical featured a book by Doug Wright, music by Scott Frankel, lyrics by Michael Korie, choreography by Christopher Gattelli, and direction by Michael Greif.

Hartford Stage will present The Flamingo Kid, which closes the 2018-19 season. Performances for The Flamingo Kid begin on Thursday, May 9, and run through Sunday, June 9.

On this day the battle for queen of cosmetics began on Broadway, with legends Christine Ebersole and Patti LuPone in War Paint.

Composer Scott Frankel and lyricist Michael Korie, the celebrated team behind Broadway musicals Grey Gardens and War Paint, are two of today's top contributors of new standards to the American musical theater repertoire. On Saturday night the duo was celebrated with a special evening at the Appel Room as a part of Lincoln Center's American Songbook series. 

Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole, who co-star in Broadway's War Paint, sat down for an interview with fellow Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth this afternoon via Facebook Live.
