MOTOWNGo behind the scenes of the hit new Broadway show MOTOWN THE MUSICAL. WNBC will air a thirty minute "making of" special this Saturday, May 18that 7:00PM, featuring interviews with the stars and creative team, as well as exclusive opening night and backstage footage from the show. With MOTOWN: THE MUSICAL less than two weeks away from starting previews, the cast posed for an extensive photo shoot. In this video, the stars not only don the costumes and pose, but they also discuss about this 'magical' show, including what it takes to become their characters, and how this show is 'Motown authentically on Broadway.'

Last night, September 17, Broadway stars united to sing the songs of a music legend in 'Broadway Sings Michael Jackson' at Le Poisson Rouge. The concert, which featured some of Jackson's biggest hits, was held at 9:30 PM.

Signature Theatre presents the world premiere production of Katori Hall's HURT VILLAGE, directed by Patricia McGregor. HURT VILLAGE runs through March 18, 2012 with a February 27th opening night and is the inaugural production in the The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre at the Company's new home The Pershing Square Signature Center. The cast of the Off-Broadway show HURT VILLAGE has been working on 'jookin' dancing: a form of dancing which originated in Memphis, where the show takes place. In the following video, the cast shows off their moves in an upbeat, energy-filled rehearsal.

Fela was nominated for Best Musical at the 2010 Tony Awards. Although they didn't walk away this this honor, the show did win for Best Costume Design of a Musical, and Best Choreography.

Fela!, the critically acclaimed new musical based on the life and music of groundbreaking African composer, performer and activist Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, is directed and choreographed by Tony® Award-winner Bill T. Jones (Spring Awakening), with a book by Jim Lewis and Bill T. Jones. Sahr Ngaujah and Kevin Mambo play the title character at alternate performances, while the world renowned Antibalas and other members of the NYC Afrobeat community, under the direction of Aaron Johnson, perform Kuti's rousing music live onstage.

Broadway dominated The View yesterday, March 3. Following an interview with The Miracle Worker's Abigail Breslin, the Fela! cast took the stage to perform 'Zombie' for viewers. Valerie Bertinelli filled in for Whoopi Goldberg, alongside View regulars Barbra Walters, Joy Behar, Sherri Sheperd and Elizabeth Hasselbeck. Audience members were sent home from the taping with a pair of tickets to see the Fela!. The View airs weekdays at 11:00am EST on ABC.

Sting and Alicia Keys were amongst other well-known music and entertainment personalities to visit the Broadway sensation Fela! during its first week run, and the praise for this dazzling production was unanimous.

The complete cast, all-star band and crew of HAIR (a total company of 50) traveled to Los Angeles to give a performance from the Tony Award-winning musical on NBC's 'The Tonight Show with Conan O' Brien' on their day off, Monday, July 13th.
