Dominic Cooper stars in Stephen Jeffreys' sexually charged masterpiece THE LIBERTINE this autumn. Feinstein's at Loews Regency is now presenting the Tony Award winning theater icon Betty Buckley in an exclusive four week run of the new show 'Ah Men! The Boys of Broadway.' In the show, Buckley performs men's songs from Broadway shows that she has always wanted to sing, including numbers from Sweeney Todd, West Side Story, Guys and Dolls, On A Clear Day You Can See Forever, Pippin, Mame and La Cage Aux Folles. She is joined by Christian Jacob on piano, Peter Barshay on bass and Anthony Pinciotti on drums. The show runs through October 29 at Feinstein's. BroadwayWorld was on hand for a recent show and spoke with Buckley about all things men and how it feels to perform their material, the future of the show, and what her not-yet-performed female repertoire wish list looks like. Roman Polanski's upcoming God of Carnage features John C. Reilly, Jodie Foster, Kate Winslet and Christoph Waltz in the movie version of Yasmina Reva's Tony-winning play. The film just debuted this summer at the Venice Film Festival (August 31- September 10) and opened the New York Film Festival on September 30. It's due to hit movie theatres in the United States on November 18, 2011.

It was just announced yesterday that Kim Cattrall and Paul Gross will star on Broadway this autumn in Noël Coward's Private Lives directed by Richard Eyre at the Music Box Theatre. Previews will begin on Sunday November 6; opening night is Thursday November 17. The limited engagement runs through February 5 2012. Cattrall starred as Amanda in Sir Richard Eyre's production of Private Lives at London's Vaudeville Theatre in 2010. The production received rave reviews from the critics and played a sell-out season. It will play a limited run at Toronto's Royal Alexandra Theatre prior to Broadway. Cattrall will be joined by Paul Gross in the role of Elyot for the production. (more...)

Estelle Parsons, who won an Oscar for playing ‘Blanche' in the legendary 1967 film 'Bonnie and Clyde', will make her West End stage debut starring as ‘Helga ten Dorp' in Ira Levin's thriller 'DEATHTRAP', which will open at the Noël Coward Theatre in London on Tuesday 7 September. Rehearsals are now underway for Dans der Vampieren in Belgium. Dans der Vampieren, an adaptation of TANZ DER VAMPIRE which was to open in Belgium, has been delayed. Reports are that multiple production companies in Belgium oppose the show being given a €2.5 million government grant, and have asked for that support to be suspended. An investigation is now underway. (more...)
