Ghostlight Records has released HIMSELF AND NORA - the 2016 Off-Broadway Cast Recording, Live from the Minetta Lane Theatre, NYC - from iTunes and other digital formats today, Friday, September 23. Physical copies will be available online and in stores Friday, October 7. The new musical features book, music, and lyrics by Jonathan Brielle. The former JERSEY BOYS star now plays a rock star of the literary world.

He's played rocker types on Broadway but now Matt Bogart plays a literary bad boy.

Himself and Nora, directed by Michael Bush, produced by Cherie King and executive produced by R. Erin Craig, is currently performing at the Minetta Lane Theatre (18 Minetta Lane, between Sixth Avenue and MacDougal Street).

On March 10, guests at Paddy Reilly's Music Bar got quite the treat at the venue's weekly open mic. Off-Broadway's HIMSELF AND NORA author/composer Jonathan Brielle and star Matt Bogart surprised them with two songs from the show, which begins this May at the Minetta Lane Theatre. DEEP Arts in association with The New York Musical Theatre Festival presents the NY Premiere of Moses Man with book & lyrics by Deborah Haber and music by Casey Filiaci, directed by Michael Bush. The show will be feature choreography by Wendy Seyb with musical direction by Don Kot. Moses Man will play from July 8-13, 2015 at the Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street). Manhattan Theatre Club has created a special short film in celebration of Lynne Meadow's 40th anniversary as the visionary and artistic leader of the organization. The film premiered on Monday, June 18 during a special tribute event honoring Meadow at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre - now view the video below!
