Once again, Supergirl landed at Comic-Con with another superpowered panel filled with surprises and reveals about the eagerly awaited upcoming season. Perhaps most striking for fans is that the character of Kara Zor-El aka Supergirl (played by Melissa Benoist) will be sporting a new Kryptonian supersuit - the first revamp since her co-worker, friend, and confidante Winn Schott designed her iconic red and blue gear in season one. And two new characters will also be on the scene in National City this season.

Fans not only learned more about the emerging threat from DC Worldkiller Reign (Odette Annable), but also were introduced to a few more characters poised to cross paths with Supergirl in season three.

On the Season Finale of SUPERGIRL titled 'Nevertheless, She Persisted', Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) challenges Rhea (guest star Teri Hatcher) to battle to save National City. Meanwhile, Superman (guest star Tyler Hoechlin) returns and Cat Grant (guest star Calista Flockhart) offers Supergirl some sage advice.

On the next episode of SUPERGIRL titled 'Resist', Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) grapples with whether or not to obey the President's (guest star Lynda Carter) orders regarding Rhea's (guest star Teri Hatcher) latest actions.

On the next episode of SUPERGIRL on The CW titled  "Mr. & Mrs. Mxyzptlk", when Mr. Mxyzptlk (guest star Peter Gadiot), a magical imp, shows up on Earth and declares his love for Kara (Melissa Benoist), she tries to let him down easy

On the next episode of SUPERGIRL on The CW titled "Welcome to Earth", an attack is made on the President (guest star Lynda Carter) as hot-button, alien vs. human rights issues heat up in National City.

On the next episode of SUPERGIRL on The CW titled 'The Adventures of Supergirl,' when a new threat emerges in National City, Kara/Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) teams up with her cousin, Clark Kent/Superman (guest star Tyler Hoechlin), to stop it.
