AMERICAN PSYCHO, the American premiere of a new musical based on the novel by Bret Easton Ellis -- which celebrates the 25th anniversary of its publication this March -- has just begun rehearsals for Broadway. The new musical will begin performances at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street) on Thursday, March 24, 2016. The Opening Night is scheduled for Wednesday, April 20, 2016. It has been almost five years since Next to Normal played its final Broadway performance, but the show lives on! Just this week, some of the original Broadway cast (Alice Ripley, Louis Hobson and Jennifer Damiano) traveled to Buenos Aries to preform with the Argentinean cast- Casi Normales. On September 19, 2014, some of the biggest stars on Broadway were invited to perform at a benefit concert for the Amigos de Jesus Orphanage (http://www.amigosdejesus.org/) and the children of Honduras.
