As BroadwayWorld just announced, Olivier Award nominee Tony Sheldon and Tony AwardŽ nominee Will Swenson (Hair) will lead the cast of the pre-Broadway North American company of PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT THE MUSICAL, written by Stephan Elliott and Allan Scott and directed by Simon Phillips.
The spectacular new stage musical will begin performances at The Prince of Wales Theatre in Toronto for a twelve-week only, pre-Broadway engagement beginning October 12, 2010 and officially opening on October 26. Priscilla Queen Of The Desert The MusicaL began a pre-Broadway engagement yesterday, Tuesday, October 12, at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto, Canada, prior to beginning performances at Broadway's Palace Theatre in New York City on February 28, and opening March 20, 2011.

Queen Theatrical Productions, Tribeca Theatrical Productions, Phil Mcintyre Entertainment and NETworks Presentations will launch the first North American tour of Queen and Ben Elton's We Will Rock You in Baltimore, MD, at the France-Merrick Performing Arts Center, in October 2013. The theatrical rock show, structured around 24 of Queen's biggest anthems, stars Brian Justin Crum as Galileo, Ruby Lewis as Scaramouche, Jacqueline Arnold as Killer Queen, P.J. Griffith as Kashoggi, Ryan Knowles as Pop, Erica Peck as Oz and Jared Zirilli as Britney.
