At the D23 Expo in Anaheim, CA, famed composer Alan Menken confirmed reports that Tony and Oscar-winning duo, Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, will be assisting him on two new songs for the upcoming live-action remake of ALADDIN.

At the D23 Expo held over the weekend in Anaheim, CA, famed composer Alan Menken confirmed reports that Tony winner Lin Manuel Miranda will be joining him on Disney's highly anticipated live-action THE LITTLE MERMAID remake.

The 1992 animated musical fantasy film was produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation and released by Walt Disney Pictures, marking the 31st animated feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series, and was part of the Disney film era known as the Disney Renaissance. Some of the stars of the Broadway production and voices of the original movie characters joined forces earlier this week to celebrate the release and BroadwayWorld was on hand to chat with the whole gang!
