During this weekend's D23 Expo, hosts Scott Weinger (a?oeAladdina?? animated film) and Linda Larkin (a?oeJasminea?? animated film) took D23 Expo attendees on a magic carpet ride with a show-stopping evening of music and dance performances from stars of stage and screen in celebration of the upcoming in-home release of the live-action adaptation of ALADDIN and Walt Disney Animation Studios' ALADDIN Walt Disney Signature Collection.

The magic came to life as hosts Scott Weinger (“Aladdin” animated film) and Linda Larkin (“Jasmine” animated film) took D23 Expo attendees on a magic carpet ride with a show-stopping evening of music and dance performances from stars of stage and screen in celebration of the upcoming in-home release of the live-action adaptation of ALADDIN and Walt Disney Animation Studios' ALADDIN Walt Disney Signature Collection.

Following (mostly)musicals' sold-out July show, independent Means, the series returns to Upstairs at Vitello's on Monday, September 25th at 7:30pm for their 25th edition, SING OUT!

IF/THEN, the original Broadway musical which reunites composer Tom Kitt, book writer/lyricist Brian Yorkey, and director Michael Greif, the creative team behind the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning musical, Next to Normal, will play its final performance on tour in Atlanta this weekend. To mark the occasion, the cast put together a hilarious 'Drunk History' parody. We don't know about you, but we think this should become the Broadway community's next viral trend. Cartoon Network heats up summer with a magical four-week event, STEVEN UNIVERSE: SUMMER ADVENTURES featuring brand new episodes of Steven Universe every weeknight through August 12, beginning with back-to-back new episodes Monday, July 18 at 7 p.m. (ET/PT).

The L.A. Premiere engagement of IF/THEN, starring Tony Award-winner and Broadway superstar Idina Menzel (Wicked, Rent, Frozen, Glee), began performances at Hollywood Pantages Theatre on December 8, 2015 for a limited four-week engagement through January 3, 2016. Philippine Development Foundation ('PhilDev') will present it's upcoming gala event, PhilDev Celebrates Broadway: Suites by Sondheim,on Monday, November 7, 2011 at 7:30pm at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center in New York City. Headlining the event are Tony Award winners Robert Lopez, who will be honored with an Award of Excellence, and international star Lea Salonga. Yesterday, BroadwayWorld caught up with Salonga in rehearsal for the event and was given a sneak peak of her rendition of Sondheim's 'Move On'!
