The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts will soon present the Broadway Center Stage production of CHESS, the epic rock opera about love and political intrigue set against the backdrop of the Cold War as two superpowers attempt to manipulate an international chess championship for political ends.

Transport Group just presented Man of La Mancha - its first musical in this season's Anne L. Bernstein Concert Series. The special event starred John Cariani (Tony nominee, The Band's Visit), Jason Danieley (Drama Desk nominee, The Visit), Santino Fontana (Tony nominee, Cinderella), Marc Kudisch (Tony nominee, Thoroughly Modern Millie), Julia Murney (Drama Desk nominee, The Wild Party), Bryce Pinkham (Tony Nominee, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder), Andrew Samonksy (Drama Desk nominee, Queen of the Mist) and Mary Testa (Tony nominee & Drama Desk winner, The Portuguese Kid).

In this first installment of Game Night with Broadwaysted, Game Master Kimberly introduces Bryan and Kevin to a new game called 'Playbill Chase' (no relation to actor Will Chase). Check it out below!

The world premiere of BENNY & JOON will run at The Old Globe Theatre through October 22. Based on the 1993 movie of the same name with a screenplay by Barry Berman and Lesley McNeil, BENNY & JOON follows the story of auto mechanic Benny, who is the only care taker of his eccentric sister Joon. Things become complicated when Sam, with his own take on the world, steps into the picture and turns everything upside down. BENNY & JOON explores what happens when you step outside of what you know, and take the leap toward love.

Ghostlight Records has released the Original Broadway Cast Recording of Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn in digital formats today, Friday, June 2. The CD version will be available online and in stores on Friday, July 21. The album will feature a 16-page full color booklet with a synopsis and liner notes from Ted Chapin, President of Rodgers & Hammerstein, an Imagem Company. Lyric Opera of Chicago presents the American premiere of a new production of Lerner and Loewe's My Fair Lady, starring Richard E. Grant and Lisa O'Hare as Henry Higgins and Eliza Doolittle. The production runs tonight, April 28, through May 21 (press opening April 29) at Lyric's Civic Opera House, 20 N. Wacker Drive, Chicago. 

MERCY STREET, the much-acclaimed Civil War-era drama set in the occupied city of Alexandria, Virginia, will return to PBS stations for a second season on January 22 2017, at 8:00 p.m. ET (check local listings). In addition to returning theatre stars Josh Radnor, Donna Murphy, Norbert Leo Butz, Gary Cole, and more, the new season will welcome two faces familiar to Broadway fans, Tony-winner Patina Miller and Tony-nominee Bryce Pinkham.
