Westport Country Playhouse will open its 2018 Season with an uplifting tale of bravery, pride, and sisterhood, "Flyin' West," written by Pearl Cleage and directed by Seret Scott, playing May 29 through June 16.  This year marks the historic theater's 88th season.

The world premiere of Walter Anderson's play Almost Home, directed by Michael Parva and produced by The Directors Company, opened last tonight, September 18, at the Acorn theatre on Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street). Almost Home stars Joe Lisi (Take Me Out), James McCaffrey (FX's 'Rescue Me'),Jonny Orsini (The Nance), Brenda Pressley (The Lyons), and Tony Award-winner Karen Ziemba (Contact).
