Flux Theatre Ensemble's SANS MERCI & HONEY FIST Announces New Performance Schedule

Flux Theatre Ensemble will present the NYC Premiere of Johnna Adams' (The Angel Eaters Trilogy with Flux; 2011 recipient of the Princess Grace Award) Sans Merci and the World Premiere of August Schulenburg's (DEINDE; Lesser Seductions of History) Honey Fist in rep at the 4th Street Theatre (83 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery) April 26-May 18. Performances for Sans Merci will be on 4/26, 4/28, 4/29, 5/3, 5/5, 5/7, 5/8, 5/11, 5/16, & 5/17 at 7:30pm and 4/27, 5/4, & 5/12 at 2:30pm. Honey Fist will run 4/30, 5/1, 5/2, 5/4, 5/9, 5/10, 5/12, 5/14, 5/15, & 5/18 at 7:30pm and 5/5, 5/11, & 5/18 at 2:30pm. Tickets ($18; $15 students) may be purchased online at www.fluxtheatre.org or by calling 866-811-4111. Tickets to see performances of both shows are $30 (with no service charge).

Flux Theatre Ensemble will present the World Premiere of August Schulenburg's (DEINDE; Lesser Seductions of History) Honey Fist, April 30-May 18 at the 4th Street Theatre (83 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery). The production will be directed by Kelly O'Donnell (Hearts Like Fists) and will feature Matt Archambault (Lesser Seductions of History), Nat Cassidy* (Songs of Love: A Theatrical Mixtape, FringeNYC 2012),Anna Rahn* (Ajax in Iraq), Isaiah Tanenbaum (Mac in DEINDE), and Chinaza Uche* (Peter in Hearts Like Fists). The Production Stage Manager will be Jodi Witherell. *Actor appears courtesy of the Actors' Equity Association.

The production will be directed by Heather Cohn (NYIT Outstanding Direction Award nominee for The Lesser Seductions of History) and will feature Rachael Hip-Flores (Anyone But Me webseries; Hearts Like Fists with Flux), Susan Ferrara* (Peasant with KEF Productions), and Alisha Spielmann* (Blast Radius with Gideon Productions; The Runner Stumbles with Retro Productions). Long View Theater Company Presents PIT, 2/28-3/17

In Pit, the residents of a Welsh mining village are pushed to the brink as the Iron Lady tightens her grip on Britain. The play explores how these people cope with adversity and the lengths to which they will go to survive as the miner's strike of 1984 brings out the best and the worst of this tight-knit community.

Theater for the New City Announces PIT Cast

Long View Theater Company presents Pit, a new play by Melisa Annis. Jeff Woodbridge directs a cast of eight including Patrick Eichner, Samantha Jones*, Kurt Kelly*, Jake Levitt, Molly Lovell, Sarah Matteucci, Ted McGuinness, and Michael Mraz. Pit will run at the Theater for the New City, 155 First Avenue (bet. 9th and 10th Streets), New York City 10003 for sixteen performances, February 28-March 17, 2013. *Member, Actors' Equity Association. Zack Calhoon, Mark Souza to Lead Boomerang Theatre Company's HAMLET

The Boomerang Theatre Company (Tim Errickson, Artistic Director; Sue Abbott, Managing Director) announced addition casting for their 2012 outdoor production of Shakespeare's Hamlet, adapted and directed by Artistic Director Tim Errickson and starring Zack Calhoon as Hamlet and Mark Souza as Laertes.
