South Africa has an exciting new musical on the way and audiences have the chance to be part of it.

Michael Cassel Group in association with Disney Theatrical Productions are proud to announce the hit Broadway musical THE LION KING premieres tonight at a star-studded gala at the Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands.

After playing to packed houses and standing ovations in Manila for almost two months, the first international tour of the world's #1 musical is extending its run, adding one final week of shows. Disney's THE LION KING has just announced the final performance date and will close its premiere season in Manila on 27 May 2018. New seats on sale at 10AM Philippine Standard Time on 26 April 2018.

The South African Isango Ensemble's production of 'The Magic Flute: Impepe Yomlingo,' strips away some of the glossy sheen of Mozart's master work, leaving a show that is more down to earth and yet still revels in the joy of the composer's music. Under Mark Dunford May's direction, this 'Magic Flute' transports the show to an African township, showcasing a transposed score for African instruments and encompassing various African dialects (as well as English - the primary language used in the show).

A new production of The Mysteries - Yiimimangaliso, the musical that has been seen by audiences of over 250,000 worldwide, will return to London for twenty five performances only at the Garrick Theatre from 11 September - 3 October, with press night on 15 September.
