New Federal Theatre (NFT), Elizabeth Van Dyke, Producing Artistic Director, in association with ASP/Castillo Theatre, will present a reading oof Long Time Since by P.J. Gibson, to benefit the Classix Collective. The performance will take place on June 27th at 7pm at Castillo Theatre (543 W. 42nd Street, New York, New York 10036).

To celebrate the work of MTF's Women, Trans and GNC Roundtable on Monday June 3rd, Musical Theatre Factory will present a one night only evening of new musical theatre works by and for women, trans and gender non conforming people. These invigorating, witty, compelling, complex and poignant songs explore a range of stories told by underrepresented voices- songs about life, love, coming-of-age, finding your power, and just plain ol' humanity! Curated by Molly Marinik, Maybe Burke and Janelle Lawrence A New Wave Gathering will take place at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette St) on Monday, June 3 at 9.30pm. The American Theatre Wing has announced recipients of the prestigious 2019 Jonathan Larson '82 Grants: Julia Gytri & Avi Amon (book, music and lyrics), Emily Gardner Xu Hall (book, music and lyrics), Andy Roninson (music and lyrics) and Ben Wexler (music and lyrics) All will receive grants of $10,000, as well as additional support in the form of residences, concerts and recording grants, valued at over $50,000.

The Public Theater announced the sixth season of PUBLIC STUDIO today, which will present two new works this spring. Continuing The Public's commitment to nurturing new playwrights, the two productions will run in succession in The Public's Shiva Theater and be presented as pared-down productions with the low ticket price of $15. This vital program continues The Public's mission of making new work by emerging artists accessible to all audiences.

The BLUEBARN Theatre, founded in 1989 by graduates of the SUNY Purchase Acting Conservatory, proudly announces a creative partnership with STRANGEMEN THEATRE COMPANY, a New York-based non-profit, originally founded in 2010 by graduates of that same conservatory. Broadway Sessions welcomes the cast of Sweeney Todd this week, 5/24. BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. This Thursday night, May 24th, Broadway Sessions welcomes the cast of Barrow Street Theatre's Sweeney Todd and more.

Casting is announced for WP Theater's second biennial Pipeline Festival, which begins performances today, Thursday March 29. The festival, which showcases the work of the celebrated WP Lab residency for playwrights, directors and producers, runs through April 28 at WP Theater (2162 Broadway & 76th Street).
