The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7:15 PM; Friday at 8:15 PM; Saturday at 2:15 PM & 8:15 PM; and Sunday at 3:15 PM. Please note, there is no performance on Thursday, November 27 (Thanksgiving). Performances are at 59E59 Theaters (59 East 59th Street, between Park and Madison Avenues). Timmy The Great bills itself as 'a madcap musical for revolutionaries of all ages.' One could easily interpret this as meaning: It's for children from the Upper West Side. Actually, there's much here that anyone could enjoy. The show, based on a 1999 children's book about a kingdom where the adults and children switch roles, is stuffed full -- too full -- of lively dancing, tuneful songs and inspired clowning.

Book & Lyrics are by poet, novelist, journalist, Sandra Hochman (Yale Younger Poets Award, and twice nominated for a Pulitzer Prize); Gary Kupper ('Freckle Face Strawberry') has composed the music; and Edward Pierce is the production consultant.
