Asolo Repertory Theatre announced the complete cast of its upcoming production of Bonnie & Clyde a thrilling new musical with book by Ivan Menchell (The Cemetery Club, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang); music by Frank Wildhorn (Jekyll & Hyde, The Scarlet Pimpernel); lyrics by Tony Award-winner Don Black (Sunset Boulevard, Song and Dance); Music Supervision, Arrangements and Orchestrations by John McDaniel; and direction and musical staging by Tony Award- winner Jeff Calhoun (Deaf West's Big River and Pippin, Grease!). The production runs from November 16 - December 19, 2010 on the Asolo Rep mainstage-The Mertz Theatre. The press opening is November 19, at 8 p.m.

The Award-winning Broadway musical Mary Poppins and ADVENTURES BY DISNEY, a leader in guided family vacations, partnered to celebrate the show's historic 1000th performance at the New Amsterdam Theatre on Thursday April 9th. To a shower of confetti following the curtain call, the Moore family of Marlboro, NJ were brought on stage, visibly moved, as Thomas Schumacher, producer and president of Disney Theatrical Productions, presented them with a 6-night/7-day vacation to London and Paris.
Over the weekend Broadway Kids Care performed at Family Day as part of the Tribeca Film Festival. They also had a booth at the festival where they collected money for UNICEF and Shots 4 Tots.
Founded earlier this year by Kelly Gonda, President of East of Doheny Productions, BKC brings together the children from current and past Broadway shows, affording them the opportunity to perform community service and, in the
process, instill a strong philanthropic sensibility and foster a sense of community among the young actors and their families.
Last Wednesday March 5th 2008, the Broadway Kids Care organization got together to make Peace Bracelets for the troops in Iraq and for the Nyumbani Orphanage in Kenya.
Members of Broadway Kids Care had fun decorated cookies and making care packages to send to The Lillian Booth Actors Home, Freedom House NYC and its adjacent facility, Secret Garden in celebration of Valentine's Day.
On Wednesday January 9, the kids of Broadway Kids Care got together to make Valentine's Day postcards for the folks at the Lillian Booth Actors Home and also held a celebration for a few of its members who have recently left productions.
