Segerstrom Center for the Arts presents Bernadette Peters on Thursday, September 29 at the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall. Throughout her illustrious career, Bernadette Peters has dazzled audiences and critics with her performances on stage, film, and television, on recordings and in concert. Bernadette has been awarded three Tony Awards, a Drama Desk Award, a Golden Globe, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The deadline to apply for the 2022 Fall Session of Centenary Stage Company's Young Performer's Workshop is September 9 and the program will run from September 10 through December 18.

The legendary and Tony Award-winning stage actress/singer Betty Buckley will return to the famed Café Carlyle for five live performances September 27 - October 1, 2022. Buckley will offer an eclectic mix of standards and songs by contemporary songwriters.

The legendary Duplex Cabaret and Piano Bar, at 61 Christopher Street, suffered a fire in the upper part of the building, causing a subsequent power outage, shutting down the venue for several days. On July 6, the Duplex reopened its cafe and piano bar, but the upstairs and cabaret areas remain closed until further notice.

The GLOUCESTER STAGE COMPANY will present the Tony Award-nominated GRAND HORIZONS next in the lineup of its 2022 season. Robert Walsh returns to Gloucester Stage to direct this thought-provoking comedy of marital malaise by award-winning playwright Bess Wohl, running from July 29 to August 21.

The Duplex, New York City's world famous cabaret and piano bar, recently reopened its cafe and piano bar following a building fire and power outage last weekend. BroadwayWorld has just learned that the venue's cabaret theater 'suffered a little damage,' but  the owner hopes for the space to reopen by the end of the month.

Michael Feinstein will perform a series of shows this fall to launch a new partnership with Café Carlyle. Feinstein will perform at the venue October 11th through 22nd. This new partnership also marks the end of Feinstein's partnership with 54 Below.

I Hate Memory, an anti-musical co-starring the streets of New York and the late 20th century, will have its second performance at Joe's Pub on Friday, July 8 at 9:30PM, part of an ongoing bi-monthly series and eventually an album release.

Casting has been announced for Bert Tyler-Moore's What The Heart Wants, which receives its world premiere at The Edinburgh Fringe this August. The role of Frank Sinatra will be taken by Richard Shelton, whilst Simon Schatzberger will play Woody Allen.  The production is directed by Matt Peover.
