Civic's Artistic Director William Sanders directs this "brave, breathtaking" (The New York Times) rock musical written by Brian Yorkey and lyrics by Tom Kitt. The 'It Gets Better' project was launched to encourage and support GLBT youth, a reminder that all kinds of people from all kinds of places are united in an effort to raise awareness for tolerance and rights for all.
