In her tour de force, one-woman show REASONS TO BE UNSUCCESSFUL at the Metropolitan Room on September 2, comedian Theresa Kloos used her endearingly quirky sense of humor to bring the audience closer than we ever could have hoped for, in a night of comic showtunes, sassy pop songs, and spunky rock beats. UNSUCCESSFUL debuted in June as a follow-up to her first show, REASONS TO BE UNPRETTY, which was her first 'exploration of the trials and tribulations of a funny, albeit awkward girl growing up in Cleveland.' This time around, Kloos is back with lessons learned and a powerful message to share--- infused with her humor, of course.

William Finn is a composer and lyricist of musicals such as In Trousers, Falsettos, Elegies: A Song Cycle, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (which Theatre Horizon produced in 2010). He is also the composer, lyricist, and co-writer (with his longtime collaborator James Lapine) of Theatre Horizon's upcoming production, A New Brain.

The new Broadway production of William Finn and James Lapine's Tony Award-winning musical Falsettos, featuring Stephanie J. Block, Christian Borle, Andrew Rannells, Anthony Rosenthal, Tracie Thoms, Brandon Uranowitz, and Betsy Wolfe, begins previews Thursday, September 29 and opens Thursday, October 27.

?Since 2012, the renovation and reopening of Bucks County Playhouse has brought a renewed vitality to the New Hope area. On Wednesday, September 21 at 11:30 a.m., Producers Alexander Fraser and Robyn Goodman will host a groundbreaking ceremony and announce the final phase of Bridge Street Foundation's renovations of the Playhouse with this expansion of the back deck into a new lobby and cafe space.

Michael Riedel, theater columnist for the New York Post and author of the best selling book RAZZLE DAZZLE The Battle For Broadway, led a panel discussion at the Friars Club last night.  The book is advertised with the slogan, "everything you wanted to know about Broadway, but were afraid to ask"!

Theatre Horizon will kick off their 12th season with a production of William Finn and James Lapine's heartfelt and hilarious autobiographical musical, A New Brain. This energetic musical runs October 13-November 6th at Theatre Horizon.

Block, Christian Borle, Andrew Rannells, Anthony Rosenthal, Tracie Thoms, Brandon Uranowitz, and Betsy Wolfe. The production, directed by James Lapine, begins previews Thursday, September 29 and opens Thursday, October 27.

Producer Scott Rudin announced today that Lincoln Center Theater has joined the upcoming Broadway production of Tennessee Williams's most cherished play, THE GLASS MENAGERIE, starring two-time Academy Award® winner Sally Field
