THEN AND NOW: Welcome Back to Falsettoland with the Original Broadway Cast- The Beginning

In just over two weeks, previews will begin at the Walter Kerr Theatre for the new Broadway production of William Finn and James Lapine's Tony Award-winning musical Falsettos.

FALSETTOS revolves around the life of a charming, intelligent, neurotic gay man named Marvin, his wife, lover, about-to-be-Bar-Mitzvahed son, their psychiatrist, and the lesbians next door. It's a hilarious and achingly poignant look at the infinite possibilities that make up a modern family... and a beautiful reminder that love can tell a million stories.

BroadwayWorld has reunited the original cast (Michael Rupert, Stephen Borgardus, Carolee Carmello, Heather MacRae, Chip Zien and Jonathan Kaplan) to reminisce about all things Falsettos. In Part 1, watch as they take us back to the beginning, and explain how they first became involved with the ground-breaking musical.
