Lyn Paul will join the UK and Ireland tour of MARY POPPINS, as Bird Woman from Tuesday 18 November 2025.  Lyn joins the company in Milton Keynes Theatre.

Production photod have been released for the UK and Ireland tour of the classic multi award-winning musical MARY POPPINS, currently playing at the Bristol Hippodrome where the magic originally began and marking the 20th anniversary since the musical’s world premiere.

Sharon Wattis will join the 2024/2025 UK and Ireland tour of the multi award-winning musical MARY POPPINS, as Mrs Corry and Miss Smythe. Due to personal reasons Sonia Swaby will no longer be appearing in the production.

The Princess Grace Foundation has announced the 2022 Princess Grace Award winners, along with the recipients of the Princess Grace Foundation’s Advancement grants and the Grace Kelly Scholarship recipients.

Northern Ireland Opera announces the full casting for its first musical production of 2022, staged at the Lyric, Belfast from 3 to 27 February. The 18 strong line-up, hailing predominantly from Northern Ireland, includes major West-End performers as well as stalwarts across Theatre, Musical Theatre and Opera genres. 

After over a year without audiences in its building, Leicester’s Curve theatre is gearing up to reopen with a special socially distanced season from the 20 May. Andrew Lloyd Webber continues to indulge theatre lovers in lockdown with his generous weekly stream of one his works on the dedicated The Shows Must Go On YouTube channel to raise money for charity. This week's offering is the 25th-anniversary performance of The Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Hall and live-streamed in cinemas in 2011.

Following the first ever UK & Ireland tour of Titanic The Musical in 2018, casting has been revealed as the production prepares for its 2019 worldwide tour. After opening at the New Victoria Theatre, Woking on 11 July 2019, the production led by returning director Thom Southerland will tour across the world until 15 December 2019.

What about the story keeps audiences coming back again and again to see The Phantom of the Opera? Is it the lushly romantic score composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber? Or could it be the costumes and scenery, so widely seen across the globe - and so easily identifiable as being from The Phantom - that they are considered iconic? Or could it be the mysteriously intriguing and sumptuously romantic Gaston Leroux story?

Following the current highly acclaimed run of the production at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff, the new cast of MARY POPPINS will open at the Theater 11 in Zurich, Switzerland on Wednesday 1 February 2017 with performances until Sunday 19 March 2017. The production will then run at Dubai Opera in Dubai, UAE from Monday 1 May 2017 until Wednesday 18 May 2017.
