Multiple GRAMMY Award®-winning American Legends The Flaming Lips release their long-awaited new studio album, AMERICAN HEAD today.

Late in 2019, musician Joe Keery quietly unveiled his solo project Djo and his full-length psych odyssey, Twenty Twenty.

Today, The Flaming Lips release a new track and video, “Dinosaurs On The Mountain,” from their forthcoming album AMERICAN HEAD set for release on September 11th via Warner Records.

Today, THE FLAMING LIPS release a brand new track “Flowers of Neptune 6,” their first new recording of 2020. Produced by Dave Fridmann and The Flaming Lips, “Flowers of Neptune 6” reflects the gentler side of The Lips paisley oeuvre and melodically flows downstream into a welcoming wormhole of wistful summer pop.

Due to popular demand, THE FLAMING LIPS have confirmed two additional shows to their Spring tour performing all of The Soft Bulletin in its entirety backed by full orchestras and vocal choirs in Portland, Oregon on April 13th and in Dallas, Texas as part of the Dallas Symphony's SOLUNA Festival on April 19th. Today THE FLAMING LIPS release their first-ever official live album, THE SOFT BULLETIN RECORDED LIVE AT RED ROCKS WITH THE COLORADO SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA. This entire concert was produced by The Flaming Lips, Scott Booker and their long-time collaborator Dave Fridmann. On May 26, 2016, The Lips performed their universally acclaimed 1999 Warner Records album The Soft Bulletin in its entirety with the Colorado Symphony at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado. This particular event has been regarded by those in attendance as one of the most awe-inspiring, moving and magical moments of a lifetime. 

THE FLAMING LIPS release the first official video 'What Is the Light?' today from their forthcoming, first-ever live album, THE SOFT BULLETIN RECORDED LIVE AT RED ROCKS WITH THE COLORADO SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA set for release November 29 via Warner Records.

Today, THE FLAMING LIPS release a brand new video for the track “Giant Baby” from the universally acclaimed Warner Records album King's Mouth: Music And Songs.  The video was filmed in Oklahoma City and Los Angeles, directed by Wayne Coyne and features a cameo by their long-time friend Fred Armisen. “Giant Baby” is perhaps the most lyrically poignant and personal song from the album but visually, the Lips still convey raw emotion in the most vivid and surreal way imaginable.

Today, THE FLAMING LIPS release their 15th studio album, King's Mouth: Music And Songs, via Warner Records on vinyl, CD and digital platforms. The original gold colored vinyl Record Store Day limited edition pressing sold out instantly. King's Mouth is now widely available on all formats. To coincide with the album's release and tour, a brand-new video from the album “How Many Times,” is also released today. In typical Lipsian fashion, the video is lysergically colorful and completely joyous in its simplicity. It was shot in the band's hometown of Oklahoma City and directed by Wayne Coyne.  THE FLAMING LIPS will exclusively release their 15th studio album, King's Mouth (Warner Bros. Records), as a 12-inch colored vinyl on this year's Record Store Day—Saturday, April 13th. Limited to 4,000 copies, the special solid gold vinyl serves as the only version of the title in the marketplace until July. Get it in participating record stores across the country! This also notably marks the first new music from the band since 2017's Oczy Mlody.

Today THE FLAMING LIPS celebrate the spirit of the season by releasing a performance video of the Christmas classics “Peace On Earth”/ “Little Drummer Boy”. The film and audio recording were captured at Coyne's Pink Floor Studios in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and features THE LIPS live line-up of Wayne Coyne, Steven Drozd, Michael Ivins, Derek Brown, Jake Ingalls, Matt Kirksy and Nicholas Ley performing the songs. The video was directed by Wayne Coyne and George Salisbury. 

Thirty-five years into one of rock's wildest, weirdest, and most wonderful legacies, The Flaming Lips enjoy yet another career first in 2018. Though The Tony Awardsmay be over, the multiple GRAMMY® Award-winning Oklahoma band are honored to have received their first-ever Tony® Award nomination in the category of 'Best Original Score' for their original composition  'Tomorrow Is' from SpongeBob Squarepants: The Broadway Musical.

SpongeBob SquarePants on Broadway officially opened just last night, December 4th, at The Palace Theatre. SpongeBob SquarePants is a new musical with a book by Kyle Jarrow, music supervision, orchestrations and arrangements by Tom Kitt, choreography by Christopher Gattelli, and conceived and directed by Tina Landau.

The Flaming Lips release a brand new video for the track 'Almost Home (Blisko Domu)' today. The video was filmed in The Lips' hometown of Oklahoma City and was directed by Lips frontman Wayne Coyne.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday, June 26 at 10:00am ET for SpongeBob SquarePants on Broadway at The Palace Theatre (1564 Broadway - Broadway at 47th Street). Preview performances begin Monday, November 6th with an official opening on Monday, December 4th.
