The 24 Hour Plays have announced additional performers who will be joining the incredible line-up for the 21st Annual The 24 Hour Plays Broadway Gala on Saturday, December 11, 2021. Extraordinary artists from Broadway, TV and film will come together to create brand-new plays and musicals written, rehearsed and performed in 24 hours.

Today, The 24 Hour Plays, creators of The 24 Hour Plays on Broadway, The 24 Hour Musicals and the Viral Monologues, announced this year’s company for The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals, which will be held as a virtual program.

Today, The 24 Hour Plays announced that the 10th annual application for The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals will be available starting March 24, 2021 and will run through April 11, 2021. The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals will take place virtually (for the second year in a row) and applicants from everywhere are engaged to apply. 

The Tony Award-winning play Side Man, by acclaimed playwright and television producer Warren Leight (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit), returns to Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati (ETC), this time on the digital stage with a dramatic reading.

Theatre actors have been largely out of work since Broadway shut down last year, and television is coming to the rescue. In an interview with Deadline, 'Law & Order: SVU' showrunner and Pulitzer Prize-nominated playwright Warren Leight said he is making the effort to hire as many Broadway actors as possible as the Coronavirus pandemic continues into 2021.

Gulfshore Playhouse, Naples' premier professional theater, is excited to announce “Higher,” its first show of the 2020-21 season, will go global. This new one-man show created right here in Naples will stream everywhere, allowing audiences all over the world to enjoy the world premiere production.
