Announced today is the complete casting for the world premiere off-Broadway musical A Commercial Jingle for Regina Comet. Starring as ‘Regina Comet’ is Bryonha Marie Parham, who will be joined by A Commercial Jingle for Regina Comet creators Alex Wyse, and Ben Fankhauser to complete the cast.

Broadway Unlocked will present Live at the Waldorf, an innovative hybrid experience with an invite-only, in-person audience at the recently renovated store-front entrance of the famed Waldorf Astoria New York, and a digital audience of thousands in a Waldorf Virtual Venue, to come together and celebrate Broadway and this illustrious institution.

Nine new, tour-ready, performance works are to be presented in a range of digital settings, alongside seven new projects, supported as part of a 'residency' programme, which enables artists to play with new performance ideas across a range of formats and genres.

The Playhouse Youth Company at Bucks County Playhouse will present an all-new one-hour, show written and starring eleven young women from throughout the region.  Entitled, “Dream Awake,” the show will run on the main stage at the Playhouse from Thursday, July 22  through Sunday, July 25. T

The first new musical to premiere off-Broadway since the pandemic shutdown has been announced: A Commercial Jingle for Regina Comet. Featuring book, music, and lyrics by Alex Wyse and Ben Fankhauser, this world premiere musical begins previews on Friday, September 17th, at the DR2 Theatre, with an opening night set for Monday, September 27th.

What the Ladybird Heard was first brought to the West End in 2017, marking a theatrical perch for the hugely popular sequence of picture books created by the writer Julia Donaldson and the illustrator Lydia Monks. The stage adaptation is back on the West End this summer to be followed by a UK tour, with Monks once more on board as design consultant.
