Not only has the organization survived the ongoing and vastly fluctuating public tastes in music, lyrics, and performers, it has proliferated and burgeoned in its three decades of commitment to the classic, "Great Popular Songbook" -- both past and present.

The Equity presentation of the first theatrical staging of a new musical INVISIBLE LIFE THE MUSICAL, based on E. Lynn Harris' best-selling novel, Invisible Life, begins tonight.

It's the show where today's stars sing great show tunes the way they used to be performed on Broadway: without a microphone! It's the pure human voice soaring to the rafters, showing an awestruck audience, once again, that they've got the same chops as the great stars of yesteryear. The 81st Annual Drama League Awards Ceremony and Luncheon was held at the Marriott Marquis Times Square in the Broadway Ballroom (1535 Broadway) on Friday, May 15, 2015 where our winners were announced. The ceremony was hosted by Hand To God star, Steven Boyer and Tyrone. Awards were presented by Zachary Quinto and Neil Patrick Harris. Casting has been announced for the upcoming Equity presentation of the first theatrical staging of a new musical INVISIBLE LIFE THE MUSICAL, based on E. Lynn Harris' best-selling novel, Invisible Life.

The new Broadway-bound musical ONE FOR MY BABY, which features the music of celebrated composer Harold Arlen, will have a special one-night-only abridged version of the show tonight, April 30th at 54 Below.

Some of the best musical experiences have taken place in houses of worship. Sadly, Holy Cross Church in Times Square was the location of such an occurrence on Saturday as a Requiem Mass for Jean-Claude Baker who committed suicide on January 15th 2015 was held at the historic church.
