Over the course of 30 years, Harlem Stage has become one of the nation's leading arts organizations, achieving this distinction by commissioning, developing, producing and presenting innovative works by visionary artists of color. Their Fall 2015 season offers a variety of events, including free neighborhood concerts and ticketed headlining events, as well as lectures and roundtable discussions that advance deeper engagement with Harlem Stage's audience. All will take place in the state-of-the art flexible performance space, the Harlem Stage Gatehouse.

Schimmel Center at Pace University is proud to announce the 2015 | 2016 season at The Schimmel Center at Pace University, located at 3 Spruce Street between Park Row and Gold Street in downtown Manhattan, adjacent to City Hall and the Brooklyn Bridge.  Schimmel Center is a world-class performing arts and culture series with an emphasis on showcasing the globe's greatest talents in the areas of theatre, music, cabaret, dance, film and family entertainment. 

Once a year, Scott Siegel demonstrates to audiences the glories of the unamplified human voice.

The National Black Theatre Festival will host 'An Evening with Vivian Reed' from August 5 through August 8, in Winston-Salem, N.C., at the Gaines Ballroom of the Embassy Suites Hotel, 10:30 P.M.

The Equity presentation of the first theatrical staging of a new musical INVISIBLE LIFE THE MUSICAL, based on E. Lynn Harris' best-selling novel, Invisible Life, begins tonight.

It's the show where today's stars sing great show tunes the way they used to be performed on Broadway: without a microphone! It's the pure human voice soaring to the rafters, showing an awestruck audience, once again, that they've got the same chops as the great stars of yesteryear. New York's critics have said every year that this is one of the most thrilling concerts they have ever witnessed. Broadway Unplugged always get sensational stars -- and this year is no exception. The 2014-2015 season has been jam-packed with exciting entertainment, fabulous stars and unforgettable nights that only live theatre can provide and this week one of the oldest awards institutions held their annual star-studded celebration honoring the best, brightest and, in many cases, newest top talent to appear on the scene this year, the 2015 Theatre World Awards. Standing out out from the pack of similar events around this time of year, the Theatre World Awards is voted on by a committee of top theatre professionals and this year's show was again directed by Barry Keating and hosted by Peter Filicia. The 71st presentation of the awards - and, yes, it is older than the Tony Awards and the Drama Desk Awards - was marked by a sensational ceremony at the Lyric Theatre on Broadway, home of the rapturously received revival of ON THE TOWN, and I was lucky enough to get a fly-on-the-wall view of not only the big awards show itself, but the rehearsal, as well - and chat with some of the starry attendees and winners, as well. Here are some of the standout moments in an unforgettable evening.

The 81st Annual Drama League Awards Ceremony and Luncheon was held at the Marriott Marquis Times Square in the Broadway Ballroom (1535 Broadway) on Friday, May 15, 2015 where our winners were announced. The ceremony was hosted by Hand To God star, Steven Boyer and Tyrone. Awards were presented by Zachary Quinto and Neil Patrick Harris.
