Vital Theatre Company has announced that it has acquired rights to the book OWEN & MZEE: THE TRUE STORY OF A REMARKABLE FRIENDSHIP, which will be adapted into a musical for family audiences in 2018.

Chance Theater, Anaheim's official resident theater company, is delighted to present an encore presentation of Fancy Nancy, The Musical as part of its third season of Theater for Young Audiences. Margot Astrachan and The Peccadillo Theater Company will present a developmental lab presentation of FANCY, a new musical, on Thursday, March 16 at 4PM and Friday March 17 at 11AM and 3PM at The Westside Theatre, downstairs (407 West 43rd Street).

???????Synchronicity Theatre will present the world premiere of Andrea Lepcio's Strait of Gibraltar, a sexy romantic comedy turned terrorism thriller that looks at love, truth, prejudice, and civil rights in the age of the Patriot Act. Performances run from March 31 to April 23, 2017.

Westport Country Playhouse will host a book signing by Katharine Holabird, author of the children's book series "Angelina Ballerina" and "Twinkle," on Sunday, February 12, from 2 to 3:45 p.m., in the lobby, between performances of the musical "Twinkle Tames a Dragon," based on Holabird's newest book.
