The Children's Theatre at Way Off Broadway will follow its sold out run of Junie B. Jones - The Musical with the stage adaptation of another popular children's book series this spring. Opening May 14th, StinkyKids - The Musical will begin performances at the area's one-of-a-kind children's theatre venue.

Due to overwhelming demand, Chance Theater is delighted to present an encore presentation of Fancy Nancy, The Musical as part of its second Theater for Young Audiences Series.

The world premiere of DINNER AT HOME BETWEEN DEATHS, a pitch-black comedy by Andrea Lepcio (Looking for the Pony), directed by Stuart Ross (Forever Plaid) and presented by Indie Chi Productions, opens as a guest production at the Odyssey Theatre tonight, April 2.

The award-winning Vital Theatre Company has just announced that PINKALICIOUS, THE MUSICAL with book by Elizabeth Kann and Victoria Kann, music and lyrics by John Gregor and directed by Teresa K. Pond will extend and return to the Theater at Blessed Sacrament, beginning Sunday, March 13th at 11:00 am.

The award-winning Vital Theatre Company is pleased to announce that PINKALICIOUS THE MUSICAL will appear at the State Theatre for TWO shows on Sunday, March 6th.  The one hour musical is based on the popular children's book Pinkalicious by Elizabeth Kann and Victoria Kann and is fun for the whole family.

The award-winning VITAL THEATRE COMPANY is pleased to announce the extention of FASHION ACADEMY, THE MUSICAL, a new musical with book by Sheryl Berk and Sabrina Chap and music and lyrics by Sabrina Chap, based on the book Fashion Academy by Sheryl Berk and Carrie Berk, authors of the popular chapter book, Peace, Love, and Cupcakes: The Cupcake Club. The production is directed by Sam Viverito and will continue performances at the Theater at Blessed Sacrament, 152 West 71st Street, just east of Broadway, on Saturdays and Sundays at 3:30 pm, through February 28th. Westport Country Playhouse's Family Festivities Series will present 'Fancy Nancy Splendiferous Christmas,' on Sunday, December 20, for three performances: 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 4 p.m. The musical is based on the best-selling book series by author and illustrator team Jane O'Connor and Robin Preiss Glasser.

Based on the New York Times bestselling picture book by Jane O'Connor with illustrations by Robin Preiss Glasser, the musical has a book by Cara Lustik and Matthew Hardy, music by Randy Klein and lyrics by Matthew Hardy and directed by Sam Viverito. The production will play at the Theater at St. Jean, on Saturdays and Sundays at 1:00 pm, today, November 28 - December 27, 2015.

Westport Country Playhouse invites the community to a Family Festivities Kick-off Party on Sunday, November 8, from1 to 4 p.m. Admission-free and open to the public, the event will celebrate the Playhouse's upcoming 2015-16 Family Festivities Series, which begins on Sunday, November 15. The popular series will feature productions based on children's classic stories, including 'Berenstain Bears,' 'Fancy Nancy,' and 'Charlotte's Web.'

Producers Michael Alden, George DeMarco, Frank Evans and Jack Lechner announced today that they will present a private reading of the new musical DATE OF A LIFETIME on Thursday, September 17th. Four time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks (Guys and Dolls) serves as Creative Consultant. Date of a Lifetime features a book and lyrics by Carl Kissin and music by Rob Baumgartner, Jr.

The award-winning VITAL THEATRE COMPANY has announced its 2015/2016 season of five musicals for children and families, performed by adults. The season will open with Flight School, The Musical, appropriate for ages 2 to 7, which will have its world premiere on Saturday, September 26 at 1:00 pm with a special Red Carpet Premiere. Fashion Academy, The Musical, appropriate for ages 7 and up, opens Saturday, October 2 at 7:00 pm, also with a special Red Carpet Premiere. Pinkalicious, The Musical, appropriate for ages 2 to 7, now in its 8th year, will continue Sundays only, beginning Sunday, September 13 at 11:00 am.
