RSL Announces Programme For Dalloway Day 2023

The Royal Society of Literature (RSL), the voice for the value of literature in the UK, has unveiled plans for Dalloway Day 2023 – an annual celebration of the work and legacy of Virginia Woolf which takes place each year on 'a Wednesday in mid-June'.

Fellowship for Performing Arts returns to New York for their third season with the first New York revival of William Nicholson's award-winning play SHADOWLANDS. The production opened last night, November 1st, at The Acorn Theatre at Theatre Row and will run through January 7, 2018. Actress Fenella Woolgar's work ranges from Handbagged and Circle Mirror Transformation to Home Fires and Doctor Who. She's currently starring in the stage adaptation of Patrick Hamilton's The Slaves of Solitude, about a boarding house in 1943 Henley-on-Thames, where Miss Roach, who endures daily torment from a fellow occupant, becomes involved with an American serviceman. The play is now in previews at Hampstead Theatre.

Lost Orson Welles' TOO MUCH JOHNSON, Found in Italy

George Eastman House, together with the National Film Preservation Foundation (NFPF), the Cineteca del Friuli, and Cinemazero today announced the recovery of Mercury Theatre's long-lost Too Much Johnson, directed by Orson Welles in 1938. The silent film was found in a warehouse by the staff of Cinemazero, an art house in Pordenone, Italy.
