Hello Broadwayworld.com, Its me, Lea. Another week, another blog and I survived another round of classes. It means having to get good grades, rehearse and hopefully survive this semester without passing out.

National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene to Present American Premiere of Yiddish Language Adaption of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF

The National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene (NYTF) has announced it will present the American premiere of the Yiddish language adaptation of Fiddler on The Roof. Adapted by Shraga Friedman, this Yiddish version of Fiddler on the Roof has not been staged since its world premiere production in Israel more than 50 years ago. Performances are set to begin in July 2018 in the Edmond J. Safra Theatre at the Museum of Jewish Heritage (36 Battery Place).

Terrance Mann and Douglas Sills Sign on for National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene's Gala Honoring Jerry Zaks

Tony Award nominees Terrance Mann (Pippin) and Douglas Sills (War Paint, The Scarlet Pimpernel) will join some of Broadway's biggest and brightest names lighting the stage in the all-star gala concert event, Broadway: A Jewish American Legacy, which will be presented by the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene (NYTF) on Monday, December 18, 2017 at 7pm in the Edmond J. Safra Theatre at the Museum of Jewish Heritage (36 Battery Place).
