Wrapping up the wildly successful 42nd Season of Dunwoody's very own professional theatre, STAGE DOOR PLAYERS produces the musical comedy, "show within a show", Kiss Me, Kate, music and lyrics by Cole Porter, book by Sam and Bella Spewack. Alan Kilpatrick directs, Nick Silvestri is the music director, and Jen MacQueen choreographs. The show opens on Friday, July 15, and runs through Sunday, August 7. Performances are Thursdays through Saturdays at 8pm (except, no performance on Thursday, July 21), and Sundays at 2:30pm. Thursday night at Feinstein's/54 Below, Scott Siegel--the busiest cabaret show producer in town--hosted a tribute to Cole Porter's classic musical, Kiss Me Kate, as part of the 2015 BroadwayWorld Award-nominated 54 Below Sings . . . series. Unter der Regie und der musikalischen Leitung der niederbayerischen Musical-Geheimwaffen Stefan Tilch und Basil H. E. Coleman verspricht KISS ME, KATE ein weiteres Highlight im Reigen der Landestheater-Musical-Produktionen zu werden. Die Premiere fand am vergangenen Freitag in Landshut statt, weitere Veranstaltungen finden sowohl hier aus als auch in Passau und Staubingen noch bis Februrar 2016 statt.
