Enemy Within, a film by director Preston Miller, featuring star performers Tyler Peck of New York City Ballet, Mathew Rushing of Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre, Samantha Higgins of Complexions Contemporary Ballet, and freestyle dancer Margues 'Nonstop' Scott will premier in New York at the second installment of New Dance Cinema on May 23. The film brings together the four unique artists to face a head on battle with insecurity and results in a beautifully shot and compelling tale of struggle and triumph.

Universal Music Enterprises, Stage Entertainment USA, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Sylvester Stallone announced today the forthcoming release of the new original Broadway cast recording of ROCKY, on May 27th, 2014 (UMe). ROCKY has an original score by the Tony Award-winning team Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens (Ragtime, Once On This Island), who are the album's producers; additionally the score incorporates the iconic songs 'Eye Of The Tiger' and 'Gonna Fly Now.' The musical, which opened Thursday, March 13th at the historic Winter Garden Theatre, stars Andy Karl as Rocky, Margo Seibert as Adrian (making her Broadway debut), Terence Archie as Apollo Creed and features a superb ensemble.

The National Basketball Association (NBA) has announced that Oscar-nominated musician Pharrell Williams, coming off of his multi-Grammy Award-winning night, will headline the 'Entertainment Series presented by Sean John at Macy's' during the 63rd NBA All-Star Game tonight, Feb. 16, at New Orleans Arena. Road Less Traveled Productions today announced a Call for Work for its 5th Annual Buffalo Young Writers (BYW) contest. The professionally run, non-profit theatre company encourages Western New York (WNY) area students (ages 15 through 23, currently enrolled in school) to write and submit a ten-minute play. In the 2014 contest, one grand-prize winner (selected by RLTP) will receive $200 cash, a one-year paid membership to the Dramatists Guild of America, and will see their play produced at the Road Less Traveled Theater. Four runners up also will receive readings of their submissions, as well as complementary tickets to RLTP shows.
