Multi-platinum rock band Green Day will release a brand-new live album, titled Awesome As F**k, on March 22nd, 2011, on Reprise Records. The set, which includes a CD plus bonus DVD, features explosive performances captured during the band's 2009-2010 World Tour in support of their Grammy® Award-winning album 21st Century Breakdown.

As reported previously, the video game 'Green Day: Rock Band,' was released in June. Now, the cast of AMERCAN IDIOT will be participating in a Green Day: Rock Band competition at the Village Pourhouse (366 West 46th Street), on Thursday, September 23. At the event, which is to be held at 10 pm, patrons will be able to challange the cast at the many Green Day tunes included in the game.

Green Day will be one of the headliners of this year's Lollapalooza Fesival at Grant Park on August 6-8. Joining them will be Lady Gaga, Soundgarden, The Strokes, and Arcade Fire. Green Day's music is currently being played daily at the St. James Theatre in the musical American Idiot. The show is set to open April 20.
