Comedians Bringing The Laughter To Carolines On Broadway In June

Carolines on Broadway, New York City's premier comedy venue, presents its talented line-up for the month of June, highlighted by headliners WellRed Comedy, starring Trae Crowder, Corey Forrester and Drew Morgan, on June 1; Chris Redd, from NBC's Saturday Night Live, June 6 - 8; Tracy Morgan, from TBS' The Last O.G., Fathers Day Weekend, June 13 - 16; Felipe Esparza, from his HBO stand-up special 'Translate This,' June 20 - 23; and J.B. Smoove, from HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm, June 27 - 30.

TBS Renews THE LAST O.G. for Season Three

TBS has picked up its original series The Last O.G. starring Tracy Morgan and Tiffany Haddish for a third season. Co-created and executive-produced by Academy Award winner Jordan Peele, The Last O.G. launched as cable's #1 new comedy in 2018 and the highest rated cable comedy debut since 2015. The show continues to be a ratings success in its second season, now ranking as cable's #1 sitcom and reaching a multiplatform audience of 23 million viewers so far.

ABC and Tiffany Haddish Team Up for KIDS SAY THE DARNDEST THINGS

ABC announced today that the network has picked up a new iteration of the classic variety show “Kids Say the Darndest Things,” hosted and executive produced by comedic superstar Tiffany Haddish. The hilarious reimagined format showcases a mix of in-studio segments and taped pieces from across the country, all set in front of a live studio audience. The series will capture Haddish's unique voice and sensibility as she interacts with real kids – and their innocently entertaining points of view. “Kids Say the Darndest Things” will air Sundays at 8:00 p.m. EDT during ABC's fall prime-time schedule, providing a solid three-hour block of family-fun programming, starting with “America's Funniest Home Videos” at 7:00 p.m. EDT and continuing with “Shark Tank” at 9:00 p.m. EDT.

THE 24 PLAYS Celebrates 24 Years When THE 24 HOUR MUSICALS Returns on June 17

In 1995, a group of writers, directors and actors gathered on Manhattan's Lower East Side for what was supposed to be a one-time only event: write, direct, produce and perform new plays within the span of 24 hours. Twenty-four years later, The 24 Hour Plays and The 24 Hour Musicals are regularly performed around the world, touching everyone from celebrities to student artists and raising millions of dollars for charities. Today, The 24 Hour Plays announced that they'll mark their anniversary with an intimate production of The 24 Hour Musicals on Monday, June 17th at 8 PM on the Irene Diamond Stage at the Pershing Square Signature Center.

Garden of Laughs Comedy Benefit Once Again Raises Over $2 Million

The Garden of Dreams Foundation announced today that the 2019 Garden of Laughs event, presented by Delta Air Lines, once again raised more than $2 million for the Foundation to aid its efforts to make dreams come true for tri-state area children in need. Since its inception in 2013, the biennial Garden of Laughs comedy benefit has raised $7 million in total for the charity. In addition to a sold-out evening of comedy at Garden of Laughs, the Foundation also launched an exclusive online auction through Charitybuzz, where you can continue to support the Garden of Dreams Foundation by bidding on unforgettable packages and experiences, including meet-and-greets and tickets to sporting and entertainment events. The auctions are running now through April 11, 2019, with certain packages closing on April 9.

Shlesinger joins a celebrated lineup that will include performances by Jerry Seinfeld along withBill Burr, Michael Che, John Mulaney, Brian Regan and Jon Stewart. The 2019 Garden of Laughs will be hosted by Steve Schirripa and will take place at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at 8:00 p.m., with all net proceeds going directly to Garden of Dreams.
