Lionel Richie to Headline London's Hampton Court Palace Festival 2018

Historic Royal Palaces and IMG announce that Lionel Richie has been added to the line-up for Hampton Court Palace Festival 2018 supported by Viking, award-winning cruise line. These are Lionel's only London shows of 2018. Tickets for the Lionel Richie concerts will go on sale at 10am on Friday 2 February. Tickets can be purchased from www.hamptoncourtpalacefestival.com.

British-Zimbabwean artist KWAYE has released his latest single 'Jasmine', out now via Mind of a Genius. The track follows recent track 'Lost In My Boots,' a hauntingly poignant acknowledgement of the pain, sense of betrayal and heartache suffered by your partner if you were to break up with them. 'Jasmine' on the other hand sets a more ambiguous tone - albeit undercut with more overtly positive energy than 'Lost In My Boots'.

Leyland Simmons is a rising choreographer who is on the move to big things. His dance training began at the Royal Academy School of Dance under Barbara Devereaux in Anchorage, Alaska. From there, he went on to study dance at several notable schools such as Dance Theatre of Harlem, Miami City Ballet, The School of American Ballet, and The Ailey School, among others. He is a graduate of the Professional Performing Arts High School in New York City, and is a former member of Ailey II and Complexions Contemporary Ballet. As an educator, he is a certified teacher in the American Ballet Theatre Pre-Primary to Level 3 curriculum, holds a Master's degree in Dance Education from NYU, has taught at several studios such as Steps on Broadway, and is currently the Resident Choreographer at the Harlem School of the Arts (HSA).

iLe (Ileana Cabra Joglar) is a Puerto Rican singer, composer and vocalist who spent a decade touring Latin America with her brothers in the popular band Calle 13. Now, as successful solo artist she comes to Los Angeles performing music from her recent album that combines alt-rock with traditional boleros. Gaby Moreno, who sings the theme song for the series opening intro of Disney's first Latina princess Elena of Avalor, moved to the US from Guatemala after high school and now calls Los Angeles her home. Her guitar and bluesy vocals move easily between pop, soul, and classic Latin sounds. Both boast a Latin Grammy win and will serve up their unique blend of cultures onstage as part of the Music Knows No Borders series at VPAC (The Soraya) on Saturday, November 18 at 8pm.
