BLINK OF AN EYE Races Into Select Movie Theaters Nationwide September 12 Only

Based on the inspiring life story of NASCAR icons Michael Waltrip and Dale Earnhardt Sr., the high-octane documentary “Blink of an Eye” is set to race into select cinemas nationwide this September. The film features interviews with Waltrip and Dale Earnhardt Jr. along with former Executive Vice President of Motorsports for Dale Earnhardt Inc., Ty Norris, as well as NASCAR Hall of Famers Richard Petty and Richard Childress. The cinema event also includes a special audio cameo by country music star, Trace Adkins. Additionally, fans will view a historical vignette on how the sport was born from renegade backwoods“moonshining,” a never seen interview of Dale Earnhardt Sr. by NASCAR legend Benny Parsons, a profile of Lee and Richard Petty with rare footage, plus a special “Blink of an Eye” video from singer Bobby Capps, by iconic rock band 38 Special backed by musicians from multi-platinum band 3 Doors Down.

INSP Sets Premiere Date for Cowboy Competition Series Hosted by Trace Adkins

General entertainment network INSP, the leader in Western & Western-adjacent programming, has set a premiere date for the cowboy competition series, Ultimate Cowboy Showdown. Hosted by award-winning country music icon, Trace Adkins, the six-night event premieres on Monday, October 14th at 9PM ET.  Craig Miller, VP of Original Programming & Development for INSP, made the announcement.

CMA Songwriters Series Announces Charlotte Performance

The Country Music Association's acclaimed CMA Songwriters Series Presented by U.S. Bank has announced a performance in Charlotte at the McGlohon Theater at Spirit Square Wednesday, Aug. 7 featuring Russell Dickerson, Lindsay Ell, Jordan Reynolds and Frank Rogers. The series hosts an intimate round of performances with some of Country Music's top songwriting talent taking turns sharing the stories behind their hit songs and performing them as originally written. Tickets for the performance start at $15 plus service fees and go on sale Friday, July 12 at 10:00 AMET at Blumenthal Performing Arts. $1 of each ticket sold will benefit the CMA Foundation, CMA's philanthropic arm, which is committed to improving and sustaining high quality music education programs across the United States. 

New Docuseries STRAIGHT UP STEVE AUSTIN to Premiere 8/12 on USA Network

Today, USA Network announced the pickup of STRAIGHT UP STEVE AUSTIN, a unique interview-based series hosted by retired WWE legend 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin. The seven-half hour episode series, produced by Wilshire Studios with Steve Austin and Dave Barsky ('Dirty Jobs') as executive producers, will air on USA Network on Mondays at 11/10c following WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW, beginning August 12.

Max T. Barnes Kicks Off 2019 “Rolling River Tour” In Ireland, Wins Hot Country TV Award

International singer/songwriter Max T. Barnes kicked off his 2019 tour at the Hot Country TV awards in front of 1,100 Irish country fans with a performance of “Love, Me,” which he penned for Collin Raye and spent three weeks at No. 1 in the U.S. He went on to receive an award for “Great Contributions to Irish Music” adding to his 2018 trophy for “International Artist of the Year.” The tour coincides with the release of Barnes' new singles, “If I Didn't Have You,” “I've Loved A Lot More Than I've Hurt” and “Catchin' Up to Do” - all hitting radio now. Montalvo Announces 19/20 Carriage House Series

Art enthusiasts gathered last night (May 22) at Montalvo Arts Center for an exclusive members-only unveiling of its 2019-2020 Carriage House Theatre Concert Series line-up. The historic Silicon Valley venue announced a thrilling roster of performers from Meow Meow to The Second City, from Pablo Cruise to Loudon Wainwright III, tributes to The Beatles, Cream, and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, and an appearance by NPR's hit radio show and podcast "Selected Shorts." The season launches in October, offering a stellar line-up of theatre, comedy, magic, Grammy Award nominees/winners performing jazz, bluegrass, pop, rock, classical, new age, folk, Hawaiian music, and more. BWW Review: SONGBOOK OF THE 60S AND 70S OPENS AT QUALITY HILL PLAYHOUSE IN KANSAS CITY

Quality Hill Playhouse continues its BROADWAY AND ALL THAT JAZZ series with SONGBOOK OF THE 60S AND 70S at the Playhouse in Kansas City. Directed by Producing Artistic Director J. Kent Barnhart the fourth program in the series runs through May 26. The final installment in the series SONGBOOK OF THE 80S TO PRESENT begins June 14 and concludes the 2018-2019 season at the Playhouse on July 14.

Marty Brown to Guest Host Country Classics TV Show

Singer/songwriter Marty Brown kicks off a four-episode guest hosting run on Country Classics TV show today, with new shows set to broadcast on April 8, April 15 and April 22. The weekly half-hour program is filmed at the Willie Nelson & Friends Museum in Nashville and features interviews and music videos from classic Country artists like George Strait, Willie Nelson, Pam Tillis, George Jones, Tanya Tucker and others. Country Classics airs domestically on Heartland TV and The Family Channel, and internationally on Country TV (NZ), Keep It Country (UK) and Cayman 27 (Cayman Islands). 'We All Come Together' for John Berry and Music Health Alliance at City Winery
