Tommo Fowler directs Theo Chester's potent new work, Stray Dogs, a haunting and resonant debut play where death and healing collide in the strange world of Jacob, a troubled yet compassionate executioner who longs for a better future and a different life.

Theatre503 has announced its programme until June 2023, featuring six world premieres by outstanding debut playwrights. Two brand new Theatre503 productions open alongside co-productions with emerging and established theatre companies and producers, including plays by writers discovered through the Theatre503 International Playwriting Award and 503Five alumni, plus 503Studio Masterclasses.

In Their Own Words., written by Jonathan Freedland from an idea by Tracy-Ann Oberman and co-directed by Vicky Featherstone and Audrey Sheffield. It will run at the Royal Court Jerwood Theatre Downstairs from Monday 19 September to Saturday 22 October 2022, with press night on Wednesday 28 September 2022, 7pm.

A new script-reading service has been set up to offer dramaturgical support to playwrights of all experience levels, providing a resource in short supply. Now in its eleventh consecutive year, the multi-award-winning Finborough Theatre presents Vibrant 2019 A Festival of Finborough Playwrights, its annual explosion of new writing, running between 16 June-4 July 2019.

Andrew Frame (Twelve Angry Men, UK Tour and Garrick Theatre, West End; Responsible Other, Hampstead Theatre; This House, National Theatre) and Rosie Wyatt (The Cardinal, Southwark Playhouse; Spine, Soho Theatre, winner Stage Award for Acting Excellence; One Man Two Guvnors, National Theatre) will be bringing alive Sarah Kosar's incredible play, exploring bereavement and familial disconnection through the relationship of a father and daughter following the death of the mother.  Mumburger, directed by Tommo Fowler, is a universal story with a surreal twist, inviting the audience to evaluate their individual positions on societal taboos and personal obligation.

Commemorating the centenary of the Armenian Genocide, the world premiere of a documentary drama I Wish To Die Singing - Voices From The Armenian Genocide opens at the Finborough Theatre for a four week limited season on Tuesday, 21 April 2015 (Press Nights: Thursday, 23 April and Friday, 24 April 2015 at 7.30pm).

Discovered by the Finborough Theatre and part of its 20 Premieres season, the European premiere of Obama-ology, the European full-length debut of multi-award-winning American playwright Aurin Squire, runs at the Finborough Theatre, playing Sunday and Monday evening and Tuesday matinee performances from Sunday, 30 November 2014 (Press Night: Monday, 1 December 2014 at 7.30pm).
